A very interesting aspect of the expedition will be assessing oxygen reimmersion techniques which allow to treat decompression sickness when decompression chamber is missing. Therefore different protocols and equipments will be tested. All the data’s collected should enable to improve technicality and knowledge about the quite unknown field of-« extreme » physiology. This work will be done in collaboration with the diving specialist doctors from Géo Scaph association. Besides that, this team of hyperbaric doctors will provide training and medical assistance to the crew, by staying connected to them during the expedition. |
