Located on Ellesmere Island at 83°05’N, 70°21’W, Cape Columbia is the most northern point of Canada. It is the most northern land except for Greenland. There are 769 km between Cape Columbia and North Pole. For most polar expeditions, it is the departure point to reach the pole. For us it will be our arrival point.
